Greb won the newspaper decision. (Lima Daily News) The Buffalo Boxing Record and the Pittsburgh Post also reported Harry as the winner. The Post gave no details except to note that Greb had broken the "color line" by fighting Langford. Greb was admitted to the hospital on April 11 and convalesced afterwards at home under his mother's care. (Local authorities lifted the ban on mixed bouts for this fight.)
