A week after this fight the New York Boxing Commission reversed the verdict and gave it to Seeman. They ruled that the announcer made a mistake in stating that Brown as the victor. The two refs split, one awarding the fight to Seeman, the other calling it a draw. The referee voted for Seeman. (New York Times-3/15/1921
