One of the worst stoppages EVER. The ref needs to have his license revoked!!

A longer video that contains slow-motion action replays (taken from different camera angles) of the shots that either completely missed the target or were simply harmless glancing blows:

lol what a terrible stoppage

Yeah that's awful. Nothing is landing clean there, and he clearly is defending himself just fine with slipping, and blocking. Absurd stoppage.

That's one of the worst I've ever seen. Probs not as bad as Enzo - McKenzie, but not far off.

What is so ironic about this pansy premature stoppage is that it took place in Mexico, a country known for its take-no-prisoners battles and a place where premature stoppages rarely happen.
Here's video of a fistic war in Mexico that probably would have been stopped in most countries because of a horrendous cut on the eyelid of Argentine WBA middle champ Jorge Castro. But the ref let it go into the 9th round and it ended in one of the most dramatic, come-from-behind wins you will ever see!!

Why does this make me think of Wlad vs Joshua?
