While there are other head scratchers, I'm shocked someone does not have Manny in their top 100. Did you forget? If not, care to divulge the reasoning?

- Agree with the consensus  of nonsensical confusion in being tasked in selecting 26 fighters from the approx 90 remaining fighters to round off the 100 list the OP is asking for. Thanks to Davie compiling the divisional 11-20 selections so we could at least grasp at at this unnecessary step.

The numbers were already provided, so just add them up! I emailed Crease about Manny because I thought he forgot to include him, but nope, my mistake. His best finish was 14th in 3 divisions, but his point totals add up to 38 which is likely more than many if not most of the chosen 74, and there may be other multidivision fighters also like Jimmy Barry, so WTF? Roy Jones totaled 68, more than most of the 74 Crease has "Chosen" via his system.

Don't even know why he asked for a numerical order when it appears everyone gets a single point, but I will order mine because it is a huge FAIL that Manny and the Klitschkos, who changed boxing more than any other fighters in the past 20 years, aren't included, nor Roy Jones who was fighter of the 90s decade with Manny also of the 00 decade.

Mike Tyson! Words and stats simply FAIL to explain the abject dummkophery consensus of derelict ding dongs who dominate these boards.

1Manny Pacquiao
2Wlad Klitschko
3Vitali Klitschko
4Mike Tyson
5Roy Jones Jr
6John L Sullivan
7Julio Cesar Chavez
8Aaron Pryor
9James J Jeffries
10Jimmy Barry
11Joe Calzaghe
12Packy McFarland
13Alexis Arguello
14Dick Tiger
15Marcos Antonio Barrera
16Gennady Golovkin
17Terry McGovern
18Carl Froch
19Sergey Kovalev
20Anthony Joshua
21Chris John
22Veeraphol Sahaprom
23Antonio Margarito
24Peter Jackson
25Nikolay Valuev
26Ivan Iron Boy Calderon

Could've copy and pasted the Boxrec top 150 P4P, subtract the 74, and then chose the top 26 remainder, but that list is seriously flawed with TUE #1 over Robinson, Wills over Duran, and Oscar over Greb, ect.

Boxrec gurus should stop tweaking the current formula and use it as the basis for innovating new formulae for what it means to be the higher to lower ranked order of boxer, say starting with 3 philosophies to fill in requirements for 3 new ways to rank fighters that would reveal how different criteria affect ratings. It would also reveal those fighters who rank highly in all 4 rankings, making them the presumptive best of all time.

Yeah, asking a lot of a volunteer task force, but it could be started and tweaked slowly over a couple of years before rolling it out. Be something like what baseball gurus do, finding different ways to rate players that adds context to all.

Wow, hold up. I did NOT "choose" anything. The 74 fighters who reached a top ten placing was because the vote was open to ALL BoxRec members. And every single person who voted in any of the eight threads had a bearing on the outcome.
BroughtonRulesRefuge wrote:Don't even know why he asked for a numerical order when it appears everyone gets a single point
You were NOT asked to put the 26 fighters of your pick in "numerical order". Most are putting their list in alphabetical order, just so it is easier to read and check for fighters.

There were 26 slots to fill - as you know. Each Member votes for 26 fighters to be included in the top 100 - each of those fighters gets a +1 vote on the scoreboard.
So, with 10 Managers voting - the highest count a fighter could get is 10 votes (so he gets +1 from everyone).
