Joseph Parker Ready To Face Dillian Whyte To Get Back on Top

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

Former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (24-1, 18 KOs) and his team are ready to get right back in the mix and they have their eyes set on a potential fight with the top rated boxer under the WBC, Dillian Whyte.

Whyte has called out Parker in the past, and now the New Zealand fighter has no issue with heading back to the UK to fight him.

"He has repeatedly called out Joe for a long time," Parker's promoter David Higgins told the Herald on Sunday of Whyte.

"Given he is waiting for another shot at AJ, which may take a long time to come, we are ready, willing and available to fight him - we're saying put your money where your mouth is.

"We're not calling him out, we're just saying Joe is keen to fight him. Joe's reputation and profile in the UK have increased significantly following the Joshua fight and a fight between Joe and Whyte would easily sell out the O2 Arena, so it would make financial sense for Whyte to take this fight, too."

Be Whytes toughest fight since Joshua.
Should be fairly entertaining. Eddie's been looking to throw Whyte in the ring with whoever will take the opportunity. I hope Parker accepts the challenge.

Would be suprised if this fight didn't come off in the future. The two guys in the division who genuinely couldn't care less who they fight.

Would be a good fight , not so sure Eddie would want it though , he seems keen on Whyte fighting Wilder , which i think is just a measuring stick for the cash cow Joshua .

Higgins , is a good manager though ,

There are a lot of fights Eddie wants to make like Khan-Brook.. Whyte vs. Wilder is definately one he wants to make.

I think Eddie did his best with Whyte Wilder. It was a massive money offer ( relitive to his current and past paydays) and exposure for Wilder and he turned it down. Moving along from that, Parker Whyte makes sense.

He did try for that fight , made a good offer , One which for the life of me i can't understand why Wilder did'nt take it , the fight would be an easy one for Wilder , Whyte won a lucky one with a fading Chisora , his next two were fights against mediorcre opponents ,, Only reason i could see Hearn wanting the wilder fight was has a testerand a gauge , for his money machine .

Can't see him taking Parker , too much risk , no reward although i would like to see it , my take Parker wins easy . probably stop him

He seems more keen to throw Whyte in the ring against anybody that has the temerity to want to fight Joshua.

Whyte has trouble attracting opponents. I don't know why, the money is there, the exposure as well. Why not use him as a yardstick?
Can you tell I don't rate him?

It's the way Whyte comes across.. he's a handful. He turns every fight into some grudge fight..

Too close to call and a cracker of a fight. The Dillian that fought Browne would have a great chance in loads fights. I know Browne physically looked bad but Dillian looked in good shape and performed well.
