It's off because Henessey messed up the finances and overpriced the fight.

It should have happened in Germany. I would not be surprised if Tyson has gone off the rails mentally though.

To be honest, does anyone even really care about the rematch anyway? I was interested in whether Wlad could do anything differently but it would probably end up playing out the same way as it is.

Fury doesn't seem like he wants to be boxing anymore. Maybe he should just retire. He made some good money from it the first fight. He should just invest it wisely and enjoy himself if his hearts not in boxing anymore.

Yes but he can’t be a day over 32, has at least 2 kids as I’m aware of, plus a wife. In his next fight he can get paid more than he did in his first 20 combined, even by losing in the first round - and he need not bother with the trouble of making weight! Surely, in such a situation, one should just put on one’s trunks and boots and just show up..... Quite a queer scenario....a man with “fighting in his blood” who seems to be turning his back on it. Maybe, just maybe, he’s a peaceful family guy who is more Peter Griffin than Marvin Hagler.....but it’s the cash that gets me.
As someone only told me today...he should make it whilst he is young as winter WILL come..

But the consenus 1 and 2 contenders, from what I generally see, are Wlad and Povetkin (please god no). The Ring has Wlad then Wilder (IIRC due to Povetkin's drug issues).

So that wouldn't establish a new lineage.

If it's legit then he should keep the belts, unless he retires, this is what interm belts are for, the WBA is as prepared as always in already having an interm champion just in case.

Fvck the money. If he's really suffering mentally, walk away. He's got enough dough to last him a few lifetimes should he manage it well.

Gutted, if its mental health related then i feel for the big man, anything else and i'm not buying it being a legit unjury. Mental health sounds about right though, Fury is a loose wire, 2 pence short of a pound, couple that with a history of depression and it doesnt make for a pretty picture. Hope the big fella is alright.

got to nearly the end for Hennessy Sports after this heading the same way as Hatton promotions.
Not sure what's going on with Tyson. think he will lose on of his belts next week.
