1898-11-26 (114lbs) Billy Plimmer w rsc 3 (20) Charley Kelly, Seaside AC, Brooklyn, NYC, New York, USA. Referee: Tim Hurst. Billed for the world 114lbs title, Plimmer (110) was in control most of the way as Kelly (113) lurched around the ring, being treated like a punch bag, before being rescued by the referee.

Immediately following the fight Plimmer was challenged by Nunc Wallace at 113lbs, but soon dropped down the weight scale.
