1907-05-10 (158lbs) Hugo Kelly drew 20 Jack Twin Sullivan, Naud Junction Pavilion, Los Angeles, California, USA. Referee: Tommy Burns. Reported by the Los Angeles Times to have involved the championship, with both men being inside 158lbs at the weigh-in, Kelly dropped Sullivan with a left to the jaw in the fourth prior to the latter fighting back strongly. In the eighth round Sullivan was again dropped to his knees, before almost having Kelly out in the 12th.
