1915-09-04 (142lbs) Harry Stone nd-w pts 10 Fighting Fitzpatrick, Clermont Rink, Brooklyn, NYC, New York, USA. In a contest similar to their previous encounter a week or so earlier, Stone’s cleverness again enabled him to score an easy press victory over the rugged Fitzpatrick. The New York Tribune reported that Stone was still very much alive, while his 142lbs title claim remained intact. There were no knockdowns.

On 10 September, Stone was deemed by the press to have beaten Teddy Hayes (nd-w pts 10 at The Armory, Marinette, Wisconsin) in what was a lightweight contest.
