1933-10-30 Vince Dundee w pts 15 Lou Brouillard, The Garden, Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NY/NBA. Referee: Johnny Martin. Although fighting aggressively, Brouillard (159) was unable to fathom out the clever Dundee (160), often floundering when exposed by the fast-moving, side-stepping challenger. Unfortunately for Brouillard he had left much of his fight in the gym, and on top of that was forced to take off almost three pounds in weight. There was no doubt all of that hindered him somewhat, but even then he should handled himself better. In the main it was Dundee, moving left and right with stabbing lefts to the head that kept the champion off balance and out of distance.
In winning the unanimous decision, Dundee followed his brother Joe, the former welter titleholder, as a world champion.
