1995-06-17 Alberto Jimenez w rtd 9 Robbie Regan, National Ice Rink, Cardiff, Wales - WBO. Referee: Ismael Quinones-Falu. Making his first defence, Jimenez (111½) proved to be one of the better fighters to have visited Britain. Regan (111¾), who was up against it from the opening bell, showed great courage before being retired by his corner at the end of the ninth. With damage to both eyes, the challenger had been shipping a fair amount of punishment prior to the finish.
