1887-02-14 (154lbs) Bill Natty w pts 12 Pat Condon, Paradise Street School of Arms, Lambeth, London, England. Referee: J. T. Hulls. Made at 154lbs, despite being reported as 146lbs in some papers, and contested for the English silver championship belt, Natty (146) got away the better of the two, scoring effectively to take the opening four rounds before Condon (145) came on to win the fifth. Thereafter the action was relatively even, but with Natty the stronger and having produced the better work at the start it was he who won the decision.
