1892-02-11 (142lbs) [[William Robinson]] w co 6 (20) [[Frank Callan]], Goodwin Club, Shoreditch, London, England. Referee: Bernard J. Angle. Billed for the English 142lbs title and contested in four-ounce gloves, Robinson (141) was soon busying himself, and in the second round was warned for forcing Callan (142) to the floor. Robinson himself was floored in the fourth, but he got up quickly and put down Callan with a drive to the body, only for the latter to come back stronger than ever. It could not last and in the sixth Callan was knocked out by a heavy right uppercut after ducking down in an effort to avoid the punches coming his way.
