1892-02-11 (142lbs) William Robinson w co 6 (20) Frank Callan, Goodwin Club, Shoreditch, London, England. Referee: Bernard J. Angle. Billed for the English 142lbs title, and contested in four-ounce gloves, Robinson (141) was soon busying himself before being warned for forcing Callan (142) to the floor in the second round. Although Robinson was floored in the fourth he got up quickly to put down Callan with a drive to the body, only for the latter to come back stronger than ever. It could not last, and in the sixth Callan was knocked out by a heavy right uppercut after ducking down in an effort to avoid the punches coming his way.
