1893-01-05 (130lbs) Jimmy Dime w co 12 Bill Frazier, Fonda, Amsterdam, New York, USA. Referee: Alex Greggains. Contested in a large barn adjacent to the Quackenbush Hotel on the Johnstown Road, two miles north of Fonda. Billed for the American 130lbs title, the fight was considered by all in attendance to be highly scientific and was ended in the 12th rounds when Dime connected with a right-left to the jaw that dropped Frazier for the full count. Two-ounce gloves were the order of the day.
