1894-08-08 (133lbs) [[Andy Bowen]] drew 25 [[Jim Carroll]], Olympic Club, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Referee: John Duffy. According to the ''New Orleans Daily Picayune'' the fight was made at 133lbs (the ''Brooklyn Eagle'' reporting it as 130lbs) with both men inside, and the Articles of Agreement making it clear that if both men were still standing at the end of 25 rounds a draw would be given. Although Carroll was down in the first round he came back well to drop Bowen in the ninth and despite having the better of it the fight was declared a draw under the terms of the agreement.
