1895-02-06 (126lbs) Jack Fitzpatrick w co 7 (20) Harry Spurden, Bolingbrooke Club, Clapham, London, England. Referee: George Vize. Billed for the world and English 126lbs titles it was anybody’s battle up to the sixth, both men being tired from their exertions, but it was Fitzpatrick who came up more refreshed for the seventh. In difficulty from the bell, Spurden was at the mercy of Fitzpatrick and having been knocked down four times he was eventually counted out.

Following on from this there appears to be very little on Fitzpatrick.
