1895-02-12 (104lbs) Albert Gould w disq 1 (20) Jim Williams, Cambridge Gardens, Kilburn, London, England. Billed for the English 104lbs title, right from the start it could be seen that Gould carried more power than Williams, it being something of a surprise that the latter allowed himself to be dragged into a punch-up rather than sticking to his boxing. Following a tremendous right to the jaw Williams was sent crashing, but after getting up and staggering around the ring before being downed again he was disqualified when his second entered the ring.
