1895-03-30 (110lbs) Jimmy Barry drew 14 (15) Casper Leon, 2nd Regiment Armory, Chicago, Illinois, USA. Made at 110lbs, with both men inside, Leon was rescued in the 14th round by a police intervention after getting up at ‘seven’ and on the verge of being knocked out. As the matter had been taken out of the referee’s hands the only possible decision that could be given was a draw.

At this point in time, Barry was claiming both the 105lbs and 110lbs American (world) titles.
