1896-03-30 (140lbs) Tom Tracey w co 1 (20) Tom Williams, NSC, Covent Garden, London, England. With both men inside 140lbs, despite a lack of billing it would have involved Williams’ world title claim. In a contest that lasted around 30 seconds there was precious little to write about other than Tracey landed on Williams’ body after coming out of a clinch and followed up with a left-right to the jaw for a count out.
