Made at 128lbs, following his victory Sullivan challenged the world at that weight but was soon fighting at 130lbs plus. The fight itself was fast and furious . In the 19th round, Downey, who had already scored two knockdowns, swung Sullivan to his knees and proceeded to strike him twice, which led to his disqualification.
