1897-12-22 (96lbs) Bill Pincombe w rtd 13 (20) Rocky Knight, Castle School of Arms, Bristol, England. Billed for the English 96lbs title, with both men inside at the 1pm weigh-in, Pincombe was on top from first to last. According to the Mirror of Life, who reported that Knight pulled out of the contest in the 13th, he never stood a chance.

Although Pincombe continued to claim the title for the next couple of years there appears to be no further activity for him at the weight.
