1899-12-11 (133lbs) Spike Sullivan w rsc 6 (20) Young Kenney, Capitol City AC, Hartford, Connecticut, USA. With both men inside 133lbs, Sullivan successfully defended his American title claim at the weight when being on top of Kenney from start to finish and landing at will. Following non-stop aggression, Sullivan finally put paid to Kenney with a terrific left to the jaw in the sixth round that saw the latter floored before being rescued by the referee.
