1900-01-05 (133lbs) Spike Sullivan drew 25 Elbows McFadden, Broadway AC, Brooklyn, NYC, New York, USA. Referee: Charlie White. Articled at 133lbs, Sullivan again upheld his claim at the weight when securing a draw against McFadden, who had twice dashed him to the floor, in the 11th and 22nd rounds, and had made things extremely hard for him. Despite the knockdowns, Sullivan handed out severe punishment himself at times, especially with stiff lefts to head and body, and after both men had hammered away incessantly over the last two rounds to wild enthusiasm a draw seemed a fair result.
