1900-02-12 (130lbs) Art Simms drew 20 Tommy White, Grand Opera House, Akron, Ohio, USA. Referee: George Siler. Made at 130lbs with both men inside 128lbs, this was a return match, their previous contest having taken place two months earlier in Cleveland, Ohio at 126lbs. See under Featherweight Division for a report of the fight. According to Siler, writing in the Chicago Tribune, Simms had a good claim to the American 130lbs title on the result.
