1900-06-12 (128lbs) Terry McGovern w co 3 (25) Tommy White, Coney Island AC, Brooklyn, NYC, New York, USA. Referee: Johnny White. Stated in the Mirror of Life and Sportsman to have been made at 128lbs, with White half a pound over the weight paying forfeit some American newspapers reported it to have been made at 122lbs and that both men were over the limit. Regardless of that, White was not around for long and having dropped down in the first round to avoid being hit he was put down twice in the second before being counted out in the third after being smashed to the floor a further seven times.
