1900-09-30 (98lbs) [[George Capstick]] w co 10 (20) [[Dummy Forrest]], The Gym, West Hartlepool, England. Billed for the English 98lbs title, both men making the weight, it was a case of hard blows as soon as they started according to the ''Mirror of Life''. Before too long though, Capstick was making the most of his height and reach advantages to have Forrest down eight times in the opening session. Fighting back gamely, Forrest dropped Capstick in the fourth and there was fierce fighting all the way up to the tenth when the latter finally found a right hook to put his rival down and out. Incidentally, Forrest was a deaf mute, hence the nickname.
