1902-06-23 (120lbs) Ben Jordan w co 15 (15) Kid McFadden, NSC, Covent Garden, London, England. Referee: Charlie White. Billed for the British version of the world 120lbs title, it was a splendid fight with both men working hard and it was only in the 12th round that Jordan got himself in front. It had been a hard battle with first one then the other getting their punches off. McFadden was still not out of it and he matched Jordan all the way in the 13th and 14th before coming under the hammer in the last session when the latter started to land his right to the jaw with some force. Then, with just 15 seconds remaining, Jordan sent McFadden crashing down to be counted out after another heavy right collided with the American’s jaw. Regardless of the win, that was the last fight at the weight for Jordan.
