1902-10-22 (115lbs) Tommy Feltz drew 20 Danny Dougherty, Athletic Club, Savannah, Georgia, USA. Referee: Shorty Jenkins. With both men inside the articled 115lbs, as per the Savannah Morning News, this fight involved Feltz’s claim at the weight. The decision, based on the latter being warned twice for low blows, was not a popular one as Dougherty avoided mixing it whenever possible and was in big trouble on several occasions. Dougherty had been knocked out by Feltz in the fourth round at the same venue on 1 October.

While continuing to fight in the 115lbs weight class, there would be no more championship chances for Dougherty.
