1904-02-20 (112lbs) Harry Slough w co 6 (20) Harry Brodigan, Lynn Street Circus, West Hartlepool, England. Contested over two-minute rounds and billed for the 112lbs English championship, Slough (110½) gained sweet revenge when beating Brodigan (112), having previously lost to the latter when he was under the weather. Slow for three rounds when the men frequently came together, it was Brodigan who picked up the pace and had Slough complaining that he had been fouled in the fourth. The next session saw Slough all but beaten after Brodigan had decked him twice, but with the Manchester man looking to find the finisher in the sixth it was he who was counted out after taking a terrific right to the jaw.
