1906-02-26 (148/150lbs) Pat Daly w co 5 (15) Mike Crawley, Wonderland, Mile End, London, England. Referee: Edward Humphreys. Billed for the English 150lbs title, Daly took a good look at the hard-punching Crawley during the opening session before extending that to a round or two after being bundled down in the second. By the fourth he was beginning to get to Crawley, and in the fifth after working the latter’s body Daly eventually found the blow to put his rival down for the full count.

Although the contest was disqualified from having real credibility as a championship affair due to it being contested over two-minute rounds, it did not stop Daly, who came in below 148lbs, putting in a claim for the English title at that weight also.
