1906-11-16 (122lbs) Abe Attell w pts 15 Billy DeCoursey, National AC, San Diego, California, USA. Referee: Eddie Robinson. Billed for the American (world) 122lbs title, with both men safely making the weight, Attell led from start to finish against the light-hitting DeCoursey who was forced to cover up as he was hit by a never-ending barrage of jabs. Although outclassed, DeCoursey, his face raw and bleeding, showed tremendous pluck.
