1906-12-17 (104lbs) Albert Cocksedge w pts 15 Charlie Dew, NSC, Covent Garden, London, England. Billed for the English 104lbs title, with the winner to defend against Charlie Exall, both men scaled 102lbs. While Cocksedge was the stronger man, doing most of the forcing Dew impressed when always fighting back, especially after being dropped by a solid left in the third round. However, at the final bell it was Cocksedge who got the nod, mainly due to the fact that his punches carried more weight.
