1907-02-15 (104lbs) Bert Chatterton w co 6 (20) Albert Cocksedge, Harry Cullis’ Monument Road Gym, Birmingham, England. Billed for the English 104lbs title, it was only the 12th bout of Chatterton’s career and the tall youngster showed excellent potential when coming back strongly with straight lefts in the fifth round, having been outscored in the initial four sessions. By the sixth, rapidly making up lost ground, Chatterton was well on top and Cocksedge was put down three times before being counted out on the 1.45 mark in that session.
