Putting up a better fight than expected, Lang (187) dropped Burns (183) in the second with a heavy right swing to the jaw, but was soon made to pay for the indiscretion. After settling down it was all Burns as he pummelled Lang with left and right swings to head and body, sending the latter to the floor repeatedly in every round, before closing the fight with a right to the jaw in the sixth.
