1910-04-23 (147lbs) Harry Lewis drew 25 Willie Lewis, The Circus, Paris, France. Referee: Dr Phelan. A return championship match at 147lb, with Harry Lewis defending against his namesake, Boxing reported that it was no different from their previous fight. In the opening five rounds Harry had Willie down for three counts but failed to settle the latter, and throughout the contest he had several opportunities without dealing with them emphatically. In between times, Willie, taking advantage of Harry’s missed opportunities, boxed rather well but certainly did not deserve to win.
