1910-08-22 Bill Kyne w co 6 (20) Joe Wilson, St James’ Hall, Newcastle, England. Billed for the English 110lbs title, but seen as a contest within the new flyweight confines, Kyne was too fast for his opponent and quickly forged ahead with good left leads before knocking the plucky Wilson out with a right to the jaw in the sixth round.

On 17 October, Joe Fox, then known as Young Joe Fox, outpointed Joe Percival over 20 rounds at the Olympia Gym, Leeds. Thought to involve Percival’s British 106lbs title claim despite a lack of billing or weights, he regained his status when beating Fox, who was disqualified in the fourth round of a scheduled 20 at the Olympia Gym on 21 November.
