1910-09-29 (133lbs) Ad Wolgast nd-¬w pts 10 Tommy McFarland, The Armory ‘E’, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA. Referee: Harry Stout. The Daily Commonwealth newspaper reported that McFarland’s attempt to wrest the 133lbs title from Wolgast was a vain one from start to finish, despite the latter breaking his left arm again in the fifth round. Wolgast won easily, having had McFarland almost out in the first and groggy in the tenth. On both occasions he let McFarland off the hook. Just to keep himself in trim at 133lbs and taking a bit of a risk, Wolgast was adjudged to have lost the six-round press decision to Knockout Brown at the American AC, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 8 February 1911.
