1912-06-29 (142lbs) Ray Bronson nd-w pts 10 Harry Brewer, Washington Park, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. As per the Indianapolis News, both Bronson and Brewer were inside the articled 142lbs and both held on to their title claims with the fight going the distance. After the opening round there was only one man in this fight and it wasn’t Brewer, who was knocked down once in the fourth and twice in the sixth. Several times Bronson appeared to have Brewer at his mercy and it was only the latter’s heart and excellent condition that saved him.
