20 November (118lbs) Charles Ledoux nd-w pts 10 Battling Reddy, Fairmont AC, Bronx, NYC, New York, USA. Although not billed for the title, Ledoux (117½) risked his 118lbs championship claim by allowing Reddy to make 116lbs. The fight itself saw Reddy easily survive the rushes of the crude Frenchman, who showed a heavy punch in either hand when landing but lacked the accuracy to bring matters to a halt. Fighting like a hurricane, it was obvious that Ledoux’s ‘wear-em-down’ style was best suited to the longer distance.
