1913-02-07 (145lbs) Spike Kelly drew 10 Tommy Howell, The Labor Temple Auditorium, Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Without notification of actual weights, the Chicago Tribune reported this as a billed title fight at 145lbs, and while Kelly seemed to be well in the fight it was Howell who was the aggressor and landed more effectively. There were no knockdowns, but both men finished with damage to their eyes.
