1913-03-12 (158lbs) Jack Dillon nd-w pts 10 Willie KO Brennan, Virginia Avenue Auditorium, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Dillon made yet another successful defence of his 158lbs claim in this one when punching Brennan from pillar to post, especially during the last three rounds. Initially, Brennan showed tremendous gameness when taking the fight to Dillon, but the battering he received was intense. The Indianapolis Star reported that Dillon’s aggressiveness fairly carried Brennan from the canvas time after time.

With Dillon’s 158/160lbs title claim at stake in his fight against Buck Crouse (nd-w pts 6 at Kenwood Lawn, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 10 April) he made no mistakes once he had worked his man out.
