1913-03-24 (160lbs) Eddie McGoorty nd-drew 10 Bob Moha, South Side AC, Elite Rink, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Made at 160lbs, the Milwaukee Sentinel reported this to be the middleweight championship of Milwaukee, if not the world. It was certainly a tough fight, Moha giving McGoorty stacks of trouble, and even though the latter got home considerably with the left hook it barely made a dent on his opponent. Moha kept after McGoorty from the opening bell, continually swinging both hands and never wavering in his attempt to stake a claim to the middleweight title. Strangely, McGoorty once again failed to give his right a workout, preferring to go with the left.
