1913-09-01 (158lbs) Jimmy Clabby w pts 20 Sailor Grande, Buffalo Park, Sacramento, California, USA. Made at 158lbs, Clabby (152) showed plenty of class as he concentrated on his left jab and right cross early on, but when he realised that Grande (157) could withstand any amount of punishment he changed tactics and allowed the latter to make the running. Using his extra weight, Grande, who was miles behind, clutched and hung on to survive in the latter rounds.
