1913-10-03 (158lbs) Jimmy Clabby w pts 20 Sailor Ed Petroskey, Coffroth’s Arena, Daly City, California, USA. Made at 158lbs, Clabby (151) dominated the contest, winning all but four rounds according to the papers, and handing out a real boxing lesson to the tough Petroskey (158). Several times Petroskey looked like going down, but he was never off his feet, somehow managing to weather the storm of punches coming his way. Realising he had to find a knockout blow if he wanted to win, Petroskey tore into Clabby in the last two rounds, but was straightened up by solid left jabs, left hooks and right uppercuts from head to body as the title claimant boxed his way to victory.
