1913-10-10 (118lbs) [[Eddie Campi]] drew 15 [[Frankie Burns]], Stockyards Stadium, Denver, Colorado, USA. Although there was nothing in the ''San Francisco Chronicle'' to suggest this was a title bout, with both men inside 116lbs it would have automatically involved Campi’s claim at 118lbs. Both men were in the pink of condition, there being no let-up as first one went to the front and then the other. Ultimately, the resulting draw was a fair result.
