1913-11-27 (158lbs) Jimmy Clabby w rsc 14 (20) Soldier Logan, Mission Street Arena, Colma, San Francisco, California, USA. Referee: Jim Griffin. With the San Francisco Chronicle reporting this one to be at 158lbs, Clabby’s title claim was at risk. One-sided from start to finish, Logan was knocked down in the 13th and punished badly before being stopped after about a minute of the next round. Having been forced to make the weight obviously weakened Logan and the finish was in sight in the tenth session after he was dazed from terrific uppercuts to the jaw. Logan also received a broken nose for his pains.
