1914-05-15 Bob Moha nd-drew 10 Al Norton, 15th Street Garage Building, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Defending his ‘commission’ title claim against Norton, Moha was held up during the opening four rounds as the Californian forced the fight with a good left hand. However, Moha got more and more into it, having much success when getting to close quarters, and at the final bell had made up most of the leeway.

A few days later Moha was signed up to meet Jack Dillon in an effort to sort out the best man at the weight. Despite taking a bit of a beating at the middleweight limit when losing on points over 12 rounds to George KO Brown at the Atlas AC, Boston, Massachusetts on 27 May, Moha immediately started to get himself into condition for Dillon. Meanwhile, if Brown had any claim to the title he would have certainly lost it when beaten by Mike Gibbons next time out.
