1915-01-25 Tancy Lee w rtd 17 (20) Jimmy Wilde, NSC, Covent Garden, London, England - GB/IBU. Referee: J. H. Douglas. Billed for the vacant British and European 112lb titles and carrying a Lonsdale Belt, Wilde, who was suffering from a severe bout of influenza, should not have been fighting. Although he was not knocked down he was severely punished and had nothing left when his corner threw the towel in. Despite a lack of billing, both Lee and Wilde’s world title claims were also on the line.
