1915-02-13 (160lbs) Young Ahearn w co 3 (20) Willie Lewis, Maine Park, Havana, Cuba. Referee: Sam Lewis. Billed as Cuba’s first world title fight, Ahearn (155) opened Lewis (159) up with lefts and rights to head and body in the third round after a quiet start and brought about a kayo win with an overarm right to the jaw. Following this one, Ahearn met Jimmy Clabby (nd-w pts 6 on 7 March at the National AC, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) at 158lbs, but came through unscathed.
